Getting to, Travel to Anegada, British Virgin Islands

The British Virgin Islands has connection hubs that you must usually fly to before connection on a direct flight or ferry ride to Anegada,, British Virgin Islands.

GETTING TO THE BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS

NOTE: NO AIRLINES OPERATE SCHEDULED FLIGHTS TO ANEGADA. CHARTERED FLIGHTS ARE THE ONLY OPTION FOR AIR TRAVEL TO ANEGADA. SMITH'S FERRY SERVICE IS THE ONLY FERRY COMPANY WITH SCHEDULE TRIPS LEAVE FROM ROAD TOWN, TORTOLA AND SPANISH TOWN, VIRGIN GORDA.

 

Getting to Anegada via ST. Thomas USVI

Airline that operate to St. Thomas USVI includes American Airlines, Delta Spirit Airlines, Continental Airlines and US Airways just to name a few. . Travel to Anegada via ferry services from ST. Thomas, U.S.Virgin Islands IS NOT RECOMMENDED because of cordination of numerious ferry stops for this travel route and limited ferry trips to Anegada. Overnighting in St.Thomas or Tortola is most times unavoidable. If you use this connection hub we recommend two methods of travel from this connection hub which are private air charters or watertaxi services.

2.) WaterTaxi from St.Thomas USVI to Anegada BVI

 

Travelling from connection hub St.Thomas USVI to Anegada BVI can be achieved. Although NOT RECOMMENDED because of cordination of numerious ferry stops for this travel route and limited ferry trips to Anegada overnighting in St.Thomas or overnighting at ferry stop in Tortola is most times unavoidable. If you do use this connection hub to connect to Anegada it is a very affordable option. Once you get to St.Thomas USVI it is a two part process to get you the Anegada, British Virgin Islands.

  1. Take a ferry from Charlotte Amalie St.Thomas to Road Town, Tortola British Virgin Islands.

  2. After you get to Tortola, BVI you will have to clear customs and immigration then take a second ferry from Road Town, Tortola to Setting Point Anegada. Most times an overnight in Tortola is needed.

Getting to Anegada Via San Juan Puerto Rico

Airline that operate to San Juan, Puerto Rico includes American Airlines, Delta, Continental Airlines, Spirit Airlines, US Airways, United Airlines, Air Canada, Air Transit and Air Tran. Once you arrange air travel to San Juan, Puerto Rico Private charter companies can take you directly to Anegada, British Virgin Islands

Getting, Travel to Anegada From Tortola VIA Sea/ferry Services

Although Tortola is not one of the connection hubs that we've mentioned on getting to the British Virgin Islands, we mentioned it because most of the traffic going to the British Virgin Islands go via Tortola and it is some times easier to travel to Tortola then connect to other Islands in the BVI by ferry services or short scheduled flights and charters.

Once you get to Tortola, BVI there are three options you can choose from when getting to Anegada, British Virgin Islands
