THE BATHS

(located in The Valley)
This is probably the most famous beach in the British Virgin Islands, but guess what, because no regular cruise ships go to the islands of Virgin Gorda the beach is almost never ever crowded. The Baths has ample parking and a dirt trail leads to the beach. Enormous boulders with nested sea pools, caves and white sandy beach area. The Boulders in many places seem to to form many caves where at times there are little rays of light that peek in from above. This popularity is a great attraction on Virgin Gorda and as a result, it can become very crowded when the small cruise ships come calling. The best times are 8AM-10AM, and 3PM-5PM. Restrooms, Changing rooms, lockers and refreshments are available on the beach.

Savannah Bay

(5 minutes drive from The Valley)
This beach is perfect for children or having that romantic quiet day laying in the sun. There is ample space for everyone.. BVIVACTION.COM rates this beach very high because of how clear the view is to the bottom and the gentle underwater slope. Most times in the late afternoon you can find yourself alone on this beach. Perfect for snorkeling and a shallow slope that leads some 90 feet from the shore line.
